Our 23rd annual Expo was held on September 24th, 2011. Located at Towson University in Towson MD.

USITT Chesapeake Section - The Home of Theater Professionals in the Mid-Atlantic State
Welcome to the USITT Chesapeake section website. The Chesapeake Section of USITT serves Delaware, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Washington DC & West Virginia; it is one of 16 US regional sections affiliated with the United States Institute for Theatre Technology (USITT) National Organization.
The USITT Chesapeake organization is comprised of theatre industry professionals and educators working together on a volunteer basis to be the centralized resource for education, advocacy, and support of the best working practices, standards, & aesthetics of theatrical technology in the Chesapeake Region.
Our goal is to provide centralized resources for theatre professionals, educators, and students in the Chesapeake region. This website will form the core of this centralized resource. As with any volunteer-driven membership organization the strength and usefulness of the organization and resources provided can only be as good as the commitment and support of the membership. We are always seeking new members and new voices to share their knowledge and time to further theatre technology practice in the area.
