Executive Committee of USITT Chesapeake Section

The Executive Committee is a volunteer based leadership group tasked with furthering the vision and mission of USITT Chesapeake Section.  We meet at least twice annually and all meetings are open to the membership at large.

Chair- Patrick Wallace  (e-mail Patrick)

Patrick Wallace has been involved in Technical Theater and Entertainment since he was in 10, and has been being paid for it since that first job!  A graduate of Otterbein College's Design/Tech Program, he currently is the Production Manager for Shepherd University and the Contemporary American Theater Festival, both in Shepherdstown, WV.  In his other professional life, he manages the Rigging and Case Divisions of Welsh Sound, a regional production company.  In his off time, he enjoys things that involve wood boats, steam locomotives, and pastimes that involve rope and/or jumping off of things.  He blames this entire career choice on the Bellevue Hippodrome and All-American Super Circus, a backyard circus he co-produced for 3 years in High School that made him learn how to correctly rig a trapeze and tightrope while also discovering that clowns are creepy.  He serves USITT Chesapeake as 1st Vice Chair and heads the Promotions Committee.

1st Vice Chair, Liaison - Christina Smith  (e-mail Christina)

2nd Vice Chair-Programming, Mark Wujcik  (e-mail Mark)

Mark J Wujcik graduated from Winona State University, with a BA in Theatre Arts in 1991.  After graduation Mr. Wujcik spent the next two years working in internships and as an apprentice, to gain skills to become a Technical Director.  As a TD Mr. Wujcik has worked for The New Jersey Shakespeare Festival (two summer stock seasons), Rockwell Productions in Media and Philadelphia, PA, and holds his current job as TD for The Catholic University of America since 1998.  Mr. Wujcik has been an on/off member to USITT national from his first expo in Milwaukee, WI and an individual member of USITT Chesapeake Section since it last held at Towson University some six years ago.  Mr. Wujcik has been a board member (2nd Vice Chair-Programming) for the Chesapeake Section for two years this next expo at Towson.
